NHGMC brings cheer to 'Meetinghouse' seniors

To show our heartfelt gratitude to Manchester's Meetinghouse at Riverfront for generously donating a piano for our rehearsal hall, the chorus visited residents of this nursing home and assisted-living center on River Front Drive, on the evening of November 22, to rehearse our entire PEACE concert. (Take a look at the photos!) Our delightful audience of seniors boosted our spirits, cheerfully applauding each song -- even applauding when our director repeatedly had us re-do a few challenging measures here and there! The reherasal ended on a sweet note, as residents joined us in singing Silent Night. Thank you, Meetinghouse, for asking us to spend this special time with you. We'd love to come back!

Chorus members wish to thank the owners and staff of Chef Howie's HoBo's Cafe and Lounge, 5 Broadway, Salisbury Beach, Massachusetts, as well as DJ Chuck, for generously hosting another fun "NHGMC Meet & Greet" Night on Saturday, November 5. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your continued support and promotion of the chorus and our performances.
